JustCite 2.0 launched

22nd May 2007

As of 22nd May 2007, JustCite 2.0 is live.

JustCite 2.0 not only has a great new look, but also sees the introduction of the following exciting features:

  • Searching

The Quick Search box now searches all fields including references, title and subject terms. There is a specialist search form for each of the main content areas: Cases, Legislation, EU and Articles and you can search by many new fields. Search syntax has been improved so that it is in line with Justis functionality and you can now use Boolean operators and wild cards.

  • Results

Results handling has been significantly improved: extra document information, such as Reference, is displayed and you can sort results by all visible fields. The unique Filter Results Profiles feature lets you dynamically narrow down your results list without doing another search, getting you to your documents quickly.

  • Content

JustCite currently indexes over 350,000 cases and over 100,000 legal journal articles, and is a continually-expanding resource. Many more titles from well-recognised legal publishers will be available at launch. See the full list of publications currently indexed on beta JustCite.

  • My JustCite

For personal users, My JustCite allows you to customise your environment, assign client codes and manage your search and document trails.

  • Justis and JustCite integration

JustCite now integrates far more closely with Justis, with a similar interface, cross-service authentication and cross-linking.

  • Help

We’ve added many extra features which aim to make JustCite easier to use, including tips, search suggestions and in-line Help.
